Date: May 6, 2017
Time: 2:57 pm  to  5:57 pm

This women’s self defense class will teach the basics of self defense using situational awareness and physical self defense. At the core of the program are basic skills, such as awareness and boundary setting. In addition we teach “street smarts” – safety information for everyday living. You’ll also learn very effective physical self defense techniques, including strikes and how to escape from holds.
Women’s self defense is more about using your awareness to avoid an attack rather than engaging with an attacker.
We utilize scenario training and demonstrate safer techniques for everyday living, such as entering/exiting a vehicle, working or attending classes at night, being approached by a stranger.
We discuss predator behavior, how to keep your personal information safe, and how to create boundaries for personal safety. Learn how to make your walks/runs safer with just a few simple changes, how to use your voice to make a would-be attacker desist, and how to be ready to react instantly in a potentially dangerous situation.

Class will be held at the CrossFit facility located at 1610 Dell Ave in Campbell
